Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care assistance including vital sign monitoring and medication support
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing staff for urgent cases
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR systems
- Ensure facility compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Assist with patient admissions and discharge procedures on weekends
- Participate in weekend staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a hospital/clinic setting
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday (7am-7pm)
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification with willingness to maintain
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing weekend patient volumes
