Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations during weekend shifts, including receiving, stocking, and inventory management.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics associates, ensuring high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to prevent stock shortages and overstock situations.
- Process shipping and receiving documents accurately and efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Address and resolve operational issues in real-time to minimize downtime.
- Train new hires on equipment usage and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or retail management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
