Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals measurement, and electronic health record documentation
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Manage patient flow and ensure sterile exam room preparation
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Process laboratory specimens and maintain inventory of medical supplies
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts as needed
