Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign checks, and preliminary health assessments
- Assist physicians with examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations during weekend hours
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required (must be current)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, NextGen) and medical software
- Exceptional communication skills and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
- Flexibility to cover both Saturday and Sunday shifts (7am-7pm)
