Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and phlebotomyPrepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Texas state license or eligibility
