Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and day-shift staff for seamless care transitions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures throughout the night
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in a clinical setting
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking under pressure
- Current BLS/CPR certification from accredited provider
- Flexibility to work alternating Saturdays and Sundays (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient with EHR systems and medical terminology
