Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, hygiene, and meal preparation
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations per protocol
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care during shift transitions
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas and equipment
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Provide emotional support to patients and family members during overnight hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday from 11 PM to 7 AM
- Pass background check and drug screening
