Responsibilities
- Provide patient care assistance during weekend night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Document patient records accurately in EMR systems
- Assist with lab procedures and specimen collection
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent cases
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with night shift medical team for seamless care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or ER setting
- Availability for weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun nights) mandatory
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (must maintain current)
