Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures during weekend night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Perform vital sign monitoring and EKG screenings
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate patient flow across multiple departments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Respond to emergency situations following ACLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays 7 PM-7 AM
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- TX state MA license in good standing
