Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform diagnostic procedures including EKGs and phlebotomy
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Assist physicians during weekend night shift examinations and procedures
- Monitor vital signs and respond to patient emergencies during night hours
- Coordinate with on-call staff for urgent weekend care needs
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shift coverage
- Exceptional communication skills for weekend patient interactions
- Availability for every Saturday and Sunday night shifts (7pm-7am)
