Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care including medication administration, wound treatment, and vital sign monitoring
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Provide patient education and support to family members during overnight hours
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure seamless continuity of care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Current TN nursing license (LPN/RN) with active BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term nursing experience
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong documentation skills and EHR proficiency
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends (Sat/Sun or Fri/Sun)
- Pass background check and drug screening
