Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and personnel to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations
- Operate surveillance systems and respond to security alerts
- Conduct regular patrols on foot and via vehicle
- Enforce access control procedures for secure facilities
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain activity logs
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid DC Security License
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous security experience preferred
- Ability to work independently during night hours
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
