Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory orders to ensure timely shipment to our customers.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and RF scanners, following all safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure operational goals are met during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners is a plus.
