Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Sort, scan, and stage inventory packages with high accuracy and speed.
- Freight Handling: Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring proper organization and weight distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of workstations and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads to meet daily throughput targets and resolve operational issues.
- Data Entry: Accurately record inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) and night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
