Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all warehouse and logistics operations during the weekend shift, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock accuracy, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize storage.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to ensure a secure workplace for all staff.
- Generate and analyze operational reports, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management team to align weekend objectives with broader company goals.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving productivity during shift operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse safety regulations (OSHA).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Logistics preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
