Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 weekend operations staff across warehouse, transportation, and customer service divisions
- Oversee weekend inventory control, shipping/receiving, and last-mile delivery coordination
- Implement process improvements to increase weekend operational efficiency by 15%
- Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain 98% weekend service satisfaction rate
- Conduct weekend safety compliance audits and ensure OSHA standards are met
- Collaborate with weekday managers for seamless handover and operational continuity
- Generate weekend performance reports and recommend strategic adjustments
Qualifications
- 5+ years in logistics/operations management with weekend shift experience
- Proven track record of leading teams in high-volume weekend environments
- Advanced proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Friday-Sunday) with occasional holidays
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
