Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations during the weekend shift to ensure 100% operational uptime.
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates and drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and productivity targets.
- Manage inventory accuracy and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent bottlenecks.
- Communicate effectively with the morning shift supervisors to ensure seamless handovers and workflow continuity.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections to maintain a compliant working environment.
- Resolve on-site operational issues immediately to minimize downtime and customer impact.
- Train new team members on company procedures, software systems, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Proven leadership experience or strong aptitude for team supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment operation experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics a plus.
