Responsibilities
- Freight Handling: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and organize freight using standard warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and verify shipment contents against packing slips.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on powered industrial trucks and conveyor systems.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow during peak weekends.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance in previous employment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and data entry.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for inventory calculations.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
