Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products between dock and warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and ensure accurate stock levels using handheld scanners.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damages and verify documentation against packing slips.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day-shift team to ensure seamless operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus; on-the-job training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- License: Valid forklift certification preferred but not required.
