Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Direct and mentor a team of 10+ employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor daily operations, ensuring all workflows are completed accurately and on time during the weekend shift.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe workplace for all staff.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and oversee the receiving and shipping processes.
- Problem Solving: Address operational bottlenecks and customer complaints in real-time to minimize downtime.
- Training: Onboard new hires and conduct performance reviews for weekend staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or logistics role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
