Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations and logistics activities during weekend shifts to ensure 100% order fulfillment accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 8-12 logistics associates, conducting daily shift briefings and performance evaluations.
- Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA compliance) and conduct daily safety audits to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Coordinate inventory control procedures, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation, to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Analyze operational reports and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Resolve customer service issues and logistical discrepancies promptly to maintain high client satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience leading teams and supervising weekend shifts.
- Forklift certification and valid Class C driver’s license.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data tracking.
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
