Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene support
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to clinical staff promptly
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Serve as a compassionate liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months of healthcare or direct patient care experience
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
