Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and registration processes
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and patient preparation
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and medical supplies
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare or clinical experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
