Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assist with patient intake, vitals monitoring, and basic clinical procedures
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment for weekend operations
- Provide compassionate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Handle confidential patient communications and documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CMA/RMA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse patients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Flexible availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm shifts)
- Current CPR certification
