Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale using our POS system.
- Handle cash and card payments with strict attention to detail and adherence to company cash handling policies.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and markdowns during peak hours.
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve weekly sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday (flexible shifts available).
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Skills: Basic math skills for cash handling; proficiency with mobile devices and POS systems is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
