Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with product inquiries, locating items, and processing transactions.
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card payments.
- Stock shelves, arrange merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during weekend hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or security concerns to the store manager.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work flexible weekend hours (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
