Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with finding products to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Maintain the sales floor, organize merchandise, and ensure the store meets high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock shelves as needed, and assist with inventory counts during off-peak times.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register, handling cash and digital payments.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to support store goals and daily operations.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Assist with setting up the store at the start of the shift and securing the premises at the end of the day.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old to operate cash registers.
