Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently use pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor belts to process incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse management software.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders according to strict quality and safety standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, keep workspaces clean and organized, and report any hazards immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to ensure operational efficiency during busy weekend shifts.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure correct labeling before shipping.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday on a rotating schedule.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer interfaces.
- Reliability: A history of punctuality and dependability is required.
- Communication: Ability to speak clearly and listen actively to team instructions.
