Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and organize stock in a systematic manner.
- Package Preparation: Properly label and package items to ensure they are ready for shipment.
- Keep Area Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation to the workplace.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control in all tasks.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
