Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Document medical records accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist in emergency response protocols and critical patient interventions
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Current state licensure (NC) and CPR certification required
- 2+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or urgent care setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for patient needs
- Availability to work every weekend with potential holiday rotation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
