Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained during weekend operations.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move goods efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure product quality and integrity before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning shift staff and supervisors to ensure seamless transitions and operational continuity.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, packing lists, and shift reports to ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a significant plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability, specifically for weekend shift schedules.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and potential overtime during peak seasons.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
