Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Administer medications following established protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to handle unpredictable patient needs
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for potential transport duties
