Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care assistance including bathing, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams during shift transitions
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
- Complete weekend shift handovers with detailed documentation
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday, 8am-8pm)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Spanish/English bilingual a significant plus
