Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient support including vital sign monitoring and medication assistance
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility and daily living activities
- Collaborate with weekend nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or medical assistant license required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic EHR proficiency (experience with Epic preferred)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
