Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharge procedures during weekend/night shifts
- Manage electronic health records with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication for urgent care needs
- Assist in emergency response protocols and triage assessments
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans and medication schedules
- Maintain inventory control for medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent healthcare certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/clinic setting
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Washington state healthcare provider license
- Exceptional problem-solving and crisis management skills
- Flexible availability for rotating weekend and night schedules
