Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across departments during weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records and ensure documentation compliance
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team communication and collaboration
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and escalate critical issues
- Support weekend admissions and discharge procedures
- Conduct quality assurance checks and process improvements
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years healthcare coordination or clinical experience
- Weekend shift availability required (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Maryland healthcare license or eligibility
