As the Weekend Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during our critical weekend window, ensuring safety standards are met, and maximizing productivity. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and staff during weekend shifts to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent operational downtime.
- Conduct morning safety briefings and enforce company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Train and mentor new employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Resolve operational issues and escalations promptly during your shift.
- Prepare daily shift reports and communicate key performance metrics to upper management.
- Manage labor scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak weekend periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or shift management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer literacy.
