Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts including vitals, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations on Saturdays and Sundays
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless weekend healthcare services
- Handle administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and insurance verification
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credentials
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient or urgent care setting
- Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday shifts (7am-7pm)
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred for Miami patient population
