Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with daily living activities under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support patient education and discharge planning coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or relevant internship
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Proficient with healthcare documentation systems
