Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications under supervision and maintain inventory records
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekend shifts
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment following OSHA standards
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or patient care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekends
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend schedules (Saturday/Sunday)
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
