Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Participate in shift handovers and care planning meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- CNA, PCA, or equivalent healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months direct patient care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable weekend availability (must work both Saturday & Sunday)
- Pass background check and drug screening
