Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake and discharge processes during weekend shifts
- Assist with patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with on-call physicians for urgent weekend consultations
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Basic proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
