Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend nursing staff and ensure quality patient care standards
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Manage medication administration protocols and safety checks
- Handle weekend staffing schedules and emergency response protocols
- Conduct shift handovers and documentation reviews
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Address patient concerns and resolve operational issues
Qualifications
- Current NM Registered Nurse license (RN)
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
