As a Weekend Shift Supervisor, you'll lead front-of-house operations during peak weekend hours, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. This position is ideal for proactive individuals with hospitality experience who thrive in high-energy settings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all front-of-house operations during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Manage team of 4-6 service staff including scheduling and performance coaching
- Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and company standards
- Handle customer escalations with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless service flow
- Conduct opening/closing procedures and cash management
- Maintain inventory control and stock rotation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hospitality/supervisory experience
- Immediate weekend availability (Friday-Sunday)
- Valid California Food Handler certification
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in POS systems (Toast/Revel preferred)
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8-hour shifts)
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts during peak periods
