Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations during weekend shifts, ensuring productivity targets are met.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a secure work environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing clear instructions and support.
- Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock rotation.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely loading and unloading of freight.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Resolve operational issues on-site to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in business or logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing operational workflows.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift certification (preferred but willing to train).
- Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends.
