Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 weekend staff members
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate with day-shift managers for seamless operations
- Implement process improvements for weekend workflow efficiency
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex matters appropriately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
