Responsibilities
- Execute daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately to meet customer deadlines.
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently while strictly adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock adjustments to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and safe for all team members.
- Collaborate with the team lead to optimize workflow and increase productivity.
- Verify shipping documents and labels to prevent errors in delivery.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago location.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) with varying shift lengths (morning/afternoon).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety standards.
