Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight onto and off of trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing merchandise and ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with team members and handle customer inquiries regarding shipments.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and equipment as required.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as packing slips and bills of lading, accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the Dallas facility.
