Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, sorting, and organizing of stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other associates to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to follow instructions and communicate with the team.
