Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely load, unload, and move pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and organize warehouse inventory to maintain optimal storage levels.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure seamless transition and workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a history of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Equipment Experience: Prior experience operating forklifts or warehouse machinery is a plus but not mandatory.
